Episode 61 – Blacula’s Back…ula

We’re still at the dynamic duo of Corey and me (Anime Dan) this week as we continue our preparations for our rebranding. Our current tentative is B Movie Breakdown. As always, any listener input on the subject will be taken into consideration. This week things get icky as Corey and I come up with some twisted, scatological sex ideas that make ass-to-mouth look tame. We then turn to news, where we find the story of a 15 year old who ends up becoming Eskimo brothers with his ACTUAL brother and Corey lets us know that he’s got an Eskimo brother of his own. Former podcaster Pat is still holding it down with Pete the Cuckold over at www.janitorspenis.com. Finally, we read through a list of the worst and weirdest vampire merchandise, including a reusable vampire-themed sanitary pad (because going green is important – even when you’re going red) and the (unofficial) Twilight dildo. Stephenie Meyer was not available for comment, as she was busy starring in her own painfully unnecessary biography comic.

Finally, in our B Movie Breakdown we cover 1973′s blaxploitation horror sequel ‘Scream Blacula Scream.’ Ever wonder why there’s never a convenient pile of stakes sitting around when you have to kill some vampires? Because you’re not back in the 70s, of course! Shakespearean actor Blacula binges on blood, makes an army of uppity-ass zombie vampires and chases after Pam Grier in this surprisingly slow low budget classic. But hey, at least we find out why it’s called what it is at the end. For our next Breakdown, since video game movies have proved to be hilariously awful on several occasions, we’ve decided to tackle 2010′s direct-to-DVD adaptation of The King of Fighters. If it’s even half as bad as Street Fighter, we should be in for a treat.

We would also like to thank the Three Rivers Art Council in Minooka for providing us with our new Fortress of Solitude to record in.

Episode 60: Oz Overload

This week we’re down to just the duo of Corey and me (Anime Dan) as Zagar and Cupcake Tony were busy both fucking bitches AND getting money with Jimmy Smits. This episode is significant because we are now tied for length with our previous podcasting endeavor AND because it’s the exact age that I like my women! (And we delve into the topic of granny banging extensively.) Feeling nostalgic for our old news stories we both retrieved some interesting finds for the week. Corey’s story has Japan retaining its title of the master of weird shit (literally) by rolling out a new poo-powered motor-tricycle. I on the other hand went looking for stories related to this week’s movie by googling “Wizard of Oz sex offender” and got a disturbing amount of hits, including a convicted sex offender casting children in major motion pictures. We again raise the topic of our upcoming rebranding, and listener feedback and suggestions on the topic are most welcome.

This week’s Breakdown is 1978′s blaxploitation/Wizard of Oz remake The Wiz. Long before Joel Scumacher killed the Batman franchise, he killed an entire genre with man thongs, bad trip imagery and an average of 4.3 songs per event. Diana Ross kills her acting career as Dorothy, Michael Jackson does alright in his pre-Wacko Jacko phase and Nipsey Russell plays a constipated Tin Man. It’s the most unnecessarily-padded production we’ve viewed yet – well, except for maybe Prototype X29A. After having such a fun, if drawn out, experience with blaxploitation, next week’s selection just cried out for viewing, 1973′s ‘Scream Blacula Scream.’ Because after 2 hours and 15 minutes of unnecessary songs we both need to scream.
